First, our beliefs

We believe that building knowledge is deeply personal and requires a home to grow - a space free from the overwhelming noise of digital information. We know that forgetting is part of being human. We must relearn and refresh what we’ve learned. In today’s world, we increasingly offload information from our brains to our devices, often at the expense of deeper understanding. We believe academic and professional knowledge should be built systematically, piece by piece, like a jigsaw puzzle. This approach not only helps identify and close knowledge gaps but also ensures that new insights are placed in context with what we already know. Context is the glue that helps information stick, far better than repeatedly looking it up online. We also believe in breaking silos. Sharing and collaborating on knowledge objects -working together, discussing findings, and updating each other - creates a new kind of knowledge for our specialties. This collective effort can build something akin to a dynamic, living textbook.
