Understanding the Quiz Editing Interface
The quiz editing feature in Elumity allows you to manage and refine your quiz questions and answers efficiently. You can access the editing interface by clicking on the three-dot menu on your quiz card and selecting Edit Q&A. This opens a window displaying all the questions and their corresponding answers.
In the quiz editing window, you can:
- Edit Questions and Answers: Click on any question or answer text to modify it directly. This allows you to update your questions for accuracy or clarity.
- Exclude Q&A from Quiz: To exclude any question from appearing in the quiz, click on the eye icon. This action hides the question without permanently deleting it, providing flexibility if you need to include it later.
- Remove Q&A: To completely remove a question and its answer, click the trash bin icon.
Resetting Quiz Progress
To reset your quiz progress and start over, click on the three-dot menu on your quiz card and select Reset score. This will clear all your quiz answers, allowing you to retake the quiz from scratch.
Answering Questions with Confidence Levels
When taking a quiz, you have the option to rate your confidence level for each answer. These levels are:
- I’m sure: You are confident about your answer.
- I’m sure but repeat: You know the answer but would like to review it again.
- Not sure: You are uncertain about the answer.
- I don’t know: You don’t know the answer.
As you answer each question, your progress is tracked and displayed on the left sidebar, providing a clear overview of how many questions are left and your confidence levels.
Adding Hints to Questions
During the quiz creation process, you have the option to add hints to each question to help yourself out in a pinch. In the quiz taking interface, click the Hint button to type your hint. This feature is particularly useful for providing additional context or clues for more challenging questions.
Viewing Quiz Answers
When taking the quiz, you can reveal the answer to any question by clicking on the Show answer button or by clicking the quiz card itself. This functionality helps reinforce learning and allows for immediate feedback, enhancing the learning experience.
